It is by no means a concept album but it does share a common theme throughout, kind of like Octavarium or Fear Of A Blank Planet. According to the band, the album deals with the non-humane aspect of humans. First off, the album doesn't have the best audio quality one would be accustomed with big name bands, it was certainly done in a studio but there's something about the sound that's missing, nothing important really, the music outshines the production. I got to hear this album after I accidentally confused them with the German Epitaph, either way it was all good. The band is currently an independent act and are trying to get the support a of a record company in order to continue to write and record their own music. The album was recorded in April of 2015 and released in May/June of the same year. Epitaph wrote their first album Human, Not Humane during 2014 and early 2015, the album reflects the band's progressive influences (YES,KING CRIMSON,PINK FLOYD), while also adding input from other music genres (Thrash Metal, Soundtrack music, Classic Rock). Epitaph set out to look for a singer but failed and decided that Raul Corona should handle the vocal duties as well.

After a falling out with their first 2 vocalists the band went on a hiatus until 2014 when they decided re-form as Epitaph, this time, however, they added Jorge ROJAS(Keyboards) as a full time member and so the current lineup of the band was set. At this stage in their career the band was known as a metal and classic rock band, they wrote some songs and even released a demo which failed to reach a significant audience. Epitaph began 2009 when Mauricio GODINEZ(Guitar) and Raúl CORONA(Drums & vocals) met in high school, fueled by their passion for progressive and heavy music they recruited Gregorio GÔMEZ(Bass) and started rehearsing on a regular basis.
